Every winter, as cold winds sweep through the streets of Muzaffarpur, thousands of poor and homeless people struggle to survive. Elderly men and women, daily wage workers, abandoned individuals, and families living on footpaths face nights filled with unbearable cold. For them, winter is not just a season—it is a battle for survival.
Many of these people do not have proper shelter. They sleep on roadsides, under flyovers, or in temporary huts made of plastic sheets. They have no warm clothes, no blankets, and often no one to care for them. Elderly people suffer the most—weak bodies, fragile health, and no protection from the freezing nights.
Some wrap themselves in torn cloth. Some sit through the night to avoid lying on the cold ground. Many fall sick, but treatment is a luxury they cannot afford.

This winter, we have started our Winter Blanket Donation Drive to support the most vulnerable people of Muzaffarpur. Our aim is simple—to provide warmth, dignity, and hope.
